First bit of wedding photography of the year – didn’t get much of a break! With all the planning that goes into wedding, with a January wedding in a small East Yorkshire village, even more than any other time of year, we had to make provisions for “what to do in case of terrible weather”. Of course, I’d always be carrying equipment for indoor photography but, when your reception is in a marquee in your parent’s garden, the photographer can’t do anything about the cold!

Thankfully we were blessed with a beautiful sunny day, so the church grounds were pretty and the marquee heating was more than adequate (the hottest I’ve felt in many months!)

Anyway, all went without a hitch, and here are some photographs to show it!
